  Nuclear power plants are the largest single class of users of freshwater in the USA.  There is also the fact that there are leaking pipes of radioactive water into the environment at 3/4 of the nuclear plants in the USA which would contain more then just tritium!  Remember, there are 1,946 known lethal isotopes, according to the Oak Ridge National Nuclear Laboratory, managed for the United States of America Department of Energy.
